Question to the Department for International Development:
To ask the Secretary of State for International Development, what assessment her Department has made of the effect of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals on older women.
This question was answered on 9th January 2017
As the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were launched in January 2016, it is too early to make an assessment of the effect of their implementation. However, the ambition of the SDGs to Leave No One Behind is clear.
The impact of the Sustainable Development Goals will be tracked through country data and systems for reporting using the SDGs.
