Question to the Department for International Development:
To ask the Secretary of State for International Development, what representations her Department has made to its international counterparts on water shortages in and around Damascus.

DFID takes the water shortages around Damascus seriously and is in close contact with the World Health Organisation and UNICEF who are on the ground, and with other leading donors - including the EU, Germany and the US to address these issues.
