Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what assessment his Department has made of the relationship between tobacco price and consumption of tobacco.
This question was answered on 17th January 2017
The Department has made no such assessments. Tax policy and the assessment of its impact is the responsibility of HM Treasury.
