Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether his Department has been instructed by the Cabinet Office to find efficiency savings to its departmental budget.
This question was answered on 13th October 2022
The Ministry of Defence has not received any new instructions to find efficiency savings. The Prime Minister has provided a clear commitment that defence spending will increase to 3% of GDP by the end of the decade.
