Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, with reference to the Five Year Forward View in Mental Health of February 2016, when his Department plans to publish mental health prevalence surveys for (a) children, (b) young people and (c) adults.

We will be publishing a report in 2018 on the mental health survey of children and young people that we commissioned in 2015.

The mental health prevalence survey for adults is conducted every seven years. The last adult survey was published on 29 September 2016. This information is available on NHS Digital’s website at:
