Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what powers the police have to limit the drinking of alcohol at protests and demonstrations.

The police have a range of powers to deal with drunk and disorderly behaviour in public places, including at protests. How those powers are used is an operational matter for the police.
