Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, when he plans to announce the devolution deal for York and North Yorkshire.

We are in early discussions with York and North Yorkshire about devolution, and are committed to negotiating more devolution settlements like the West Yorkshire Devolution Deal agreed in March.
