Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many prescriptions for sleeping tablets were dispensed in (a) Liverpool, Wavertree constituency, (b) Liverpool and (c) each region in each month of each year since 2010.

The available information on the number of prescription items for sleeping tablets (hypnotics) prescribed in National Health Service organisations in the Liverpool area and NHS regions, and dispensed in the community each month is in the attached table.
