Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what assessment she has made of the work with local community faith groups under the Prevent programme.

Working in partnership with local community groups is a key aspect of our programme to protect those who are at risk of radicalisation. Through the Prevent programme over 180 community based projects have been delivered since 2011 and in the last year we have supported over 70 community projects, which reached almost 40,000 people.
