The UK is providing a wide range of technical assistance to the Government of Bahrain to support its reform programme. FCO officials evaluate training programmes on a regular basis to ensure that projects are on track for delivery and to assess their impact. Bahrain has made progress in its reforms, but more needs to be done to implement fully the recommendations of the Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry and UN Universal Period Review. The UK remains committed to supporting Bahrain in this process.
