Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what the criteria is for triggering Plan B of his Covid-19 Winter Plan.
This question was answered on 8th November 2021
The ‘COVID-19 Response: Autumn and Winter Plan 2021’ stated that ‘Plan B’ would only be enacted if the data suggests further measures are necessary to protect the National Health Service. We will make a judgement on whether Plan B is necessary based on a number of indicators, informed by advice from the Government’s scientific and clinical experts.
