Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what assessment his Department has made of the adequacy of the availability of NHS physiotherapists in Shropshire.
This question was answered on 25th January 2017
The provision of physiotherapy services is a matter for the local National Health Service. As such, the Department has made no assessment of the adequacy of the availability of NHS physiotherapists in Shropshire.
Shropshire Clinical Commissioning Group advises that it will be carrying out a full review of musculoskeletal physiotherapy in Shropshire in the near future.
