On 2 April in Lausanne, the E3+3 and Iran agreed that Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile would be reduced and limited as part of a comprehensive nuclear deal to reassure the international community of the exclusively peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear programme. However, it remains Government policy not to comment on the detail of the nuclear negotiations while they are continuing.
