Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, with reference to the Answer of 5 January 2016 to Question 20698, on vetting, if she will provide the same information for (a) 2010, (b) 2015 and (c) 2016.
For the period of 2010 I refer the Hon. Member to the answer given on 5 January 2016, UIN 20698. For the period of 2014 I refer the Hon. Member to the answer given on 5 January 2016, UIN 20698.
Information relating to the reasons and the harm type under which each person was so placed cannot be provided without incurring disproportionate costs.
Tables 1 and 2 show the number of people who were added to the Children’s and Adults’ Barred Lists for the years 2015 and 2016.
