Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, with reference to the Answer of 7 August 2014 to Question 205989, on vetting and the Disclosure and Barring Service, if she will provide those statistics for (a) 2014, (b) 2015 and (c) 2016.

Information relating to the reasons and the harm type under which each person was so placed cannot be provided without incurring disproportionate costs.
Tables 1 and 2 show the number of people who were added to the Children’s and Adults’ Barred Lists for the years 2015 and 2016.
