The Department for Transport and Civil Aviation Authority are in continuous dialogue with European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in the regular course of their business. The UK has been, and is, an active and influential EASA member and UK expertise has contributed significantly to the high standards of aviation safety in Europe. It is the Government’s intention to maintain consistently high standards of aviation safety once we have left the EU.
