Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, how many people received income tax relief for approved company share option plans in (a) 2014-15 and (b) 2015-16.

The number of employees that received income tax relief for shares awarded in relation to Company Share Option Plans in 2013-14 was 35,000. Data for 2014-15 and 2015-16 is not currently available.
