Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what proportion of his Department's work is dedicated to tackling toxic air.

Improving air quality is a priority for this Government. We are committed to tackling a diversity of pollutants which harm human health and the environment. My department is taking urgent action through our ambitious Clean Air Strategy, our landmark Environment Bill and delivery of our £3.8 billion programme to clean up transport and tackle roadside NO₂ pollution.
