Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, pursuant to the Answer of 12 June 2020 to Question 48563 on NHS and Social Services: Protective Clothing, what the timeframe is for the delivery of the 2 billion items of personal protective equipment.
This question was answered on 17th July 2020
We are confident in the stocks and sources of supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) to meet the needs of health and social care over the next seven and 90 days.
The global PPE market remains challenging and we are continuing to sign further deals to make our position more secure.
