Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many complaints of bullying, harassment or discrimination in the Armed Forces in each of the last five years.

Unacceptable behaviour, which includes bullying, harassment, and discrimination, is not tolerated in Defence. Those who fail to meet our values and standards will be dealt with appropriately, which includes the use of administrative, disciplinary, or misconduct action.

Formal complaints of bullying, harassment or discrimination are dealt with via the Service Complaints process. The requested information is published in the Service Complaints Ombudsman’s Annual Reports, available at the following link:
