Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what assessment she has made of the pass rate among students aged 17 years and over who achieved grade A* to C in GCSE (a) mathematics and (b) English in 2015-16.

The information requested is available for students aged 16, 17 or 18 at the start of the academic year. This is published in the “A level and other 16 to 18 results: 2015 to 2016 (revised)” statistical first release.[1]
