To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, how much funding for research grants into cancer was provided to individuals and organisations in the UK by the European Research Council in the last 10 years.

The UK Government does not hold this information. The European Research Council (ERC) supports excellent science across all areas of research. It is therefore not possible to isolate the exact amount of funding the UK has received for all research projects that have relevance to cancer research.
