Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, pursuant to the Answer of 18 June to Question 56054 on Coronavirus: disease control, for what reasons he has not made an assessment of the trends in the level of the potency of covid-19.
This question was answered on 7th July 2020
Public Health England does not collect data on ‘potency’ as it is not a recognised scientific term/method for evaluating COVID-19 infection.
