The Government has been assessing the legal and policy implications of leaving the EU, including the UK’s membership of Euratom.

The UK remains committed to the highest standards of nuclear safety, safeguards and support for the industry, and will aim for continuity of the co-operation and standards enjoyed under Euratom membership.
