The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) only holds information on the number driving licence holders in Great Britain.

As of 9 February 2017 there were 47,617,391 driving licence holders registered with the DVLA. Of these, 39,651,256 hold full driving licences with 7,966,135 holding provisional licences.
