Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, for what reason his Department is not recording cases of long covid.

Currently there is no one single test for ‘long’ COVID-19. Therefore, it is not possible to publish case numbers.
NHS England and NHS Improvement publish activity data and demographic information for patients who have been referred to a ‘long’ COVID-19 assessment clinic.
