Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, how many (a) people and (b) businesses received capital gains tax relief on investments in enterprise investment schemes in (a) 2013-14 and (b) 2014-15.

The number of people or businesses receiving the annual exempt amount against capital gains tax is not available, nor are the number of people or businesses receiving capital gains tax relief on investments in enterprise investment schemes.
