Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, what discussions his officials have had with the planning inspectorate on delays in assigning case officers.

The Director of Planning at the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities attends the Planning Inspectorate Board where performance is discussed. Additionally, officials from the Department meet the Inspectorate every month to discuss operational performance and priorities.
