Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what steps her Plan for Patients will take on mental health.

‘Our plan for patients’ supplements the NHS Long Term Plan and the NHS Mental Health Implementation Plan, which provides a framework to deliver the Long Term Plan commitments for mental health.

Through ‘Our plan for patients’ we will continue to increase the availability of mental health services, including access to National Health Service talking therapies, children and young people’s mental health services and enhanced community support for adults living with severe mental illnesses and provision in schools.
