Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many health workers (a) were eligible and (b) applied for a visa extension as a result of the covid-19 outbreak.
This question was answered on 29th June 2020
The Department for Health and Social Care estimated that up to 3000 individuals would be eligible for the NHS Visa Extension; applications are currently on course to exceed that estimate.
