To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what assistance his Department provides to people over 55 to help them prepare for retirement.

The government provides free, impartial guidance, for people aged 50 and over, through Pension Wise, to help them make informed and confident decisions about how they use their defined contribution pension savings in retirement. It is available online, via the telephone and face to face.
