Local Government: Conditions of Employment

Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:
To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, pursuant to the Answer of 9 February 2017 to Question 63310, on local government: conditions of employment, whether partnership arrangements in place between sovereign councils can be terminated against the will of those sovereign partners.
This question was answered on 28th February 2017
It is a matter for the councils concerned to decide their partnership arrangements, subject to any legislation relating to the establishment of those councils and the powers they have.
