BBC Worldwide sells advertising for BBC.com, the BBC's main international website. As a commercial subsidiary of the BBC, Worldwide does generate profits which are returned to the BBC, but we have not made any estimates on the revenue from online advertisements - this is a matter for the BBC as editorially and operationally independent.
