Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:
To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what estimate he has made of the number of rapes reported in order to claim child benefit for a third or subsequent child after April 2017.
This question was answered on 2nd March 2017
Child benefit will be unaffected by the changes limiting Universal Credit and Tax Credits to the first two children, and will continue to be paid in respect of all children.
