Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if she will make an assessment of the potential impact of NHS estates moving from using fossil fuel diesel to hydrotreated vegetable oil diesel on (a) public health and (b) air quality.

There are no plans to make a specific assessment. The National Health Service regularly assesses the viability of new technologies to reduce costs and environmental impact.
