Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, how much funding his Department has allocated to local authorities to fund children's social care in each year between 2011 and 2016.

Services provided by local authorities are financed through local revenues and government grants.

It is for local authorities to allocate funding to services including children's social care.
