The Government has been clear that we will not provide a running commentary on negotiations and the department has no plans to change policy regarding publication of correspondence.

The Government has always been committed to parliamentary scrutiny of our withdrawal from the EU, balanced against the need to avoid undermining our negotiating position, as agreed by the House of Commons on 12 October 2016.
