Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what the timetable is for implementing the Government's proposed ban on cold calling in relation to pension scams.

The Government takes the issue of pension scams, and the targeting of vulnerable people through cold calls, very seriously. That is why Government is consulting on a package of measures aimed at tackling these issues. The consultation closed on 13 February, and the Government is currently reviewing responses.
