Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, when she plans to notify farmers who applied for the Countryside Stewardship Scheme before 30 September 2016 whether or not they have been successful in their applications.

We know the importance of the Countryside Stewardship scheme for farmers and for delivering environmental benefits from land management. Natural England will be issuing remaining agreement offers as soon as possible.
