Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, with reference to section 96A(3)(b) of the Welfare Reform Act 2012 which it is proposed will be inserted by Clause 8 of the Welfare Reform and Work Bill, how he plans to identify the matters which are relevant to setting the level of the benefit cap.

The Government set out its assessment of the impacts of the policies in the Welfare Reform and Work Bill on 20th July. A link to the impact assessment on the www.parliament.uk website is included.
