Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, pursuant to the Answer of 9 February 2017 to Question 62903, what the timescale is for publishing the review of the nutrient profile model; and what the reasons are for the time taken to publish that review.

The proposed timescale for the review of the nutrient profiling model is still currently under review and is expected to be published on gov.uk shortly.

The proposed timescales are set to ensure that the options for the review are fully considered through a transparent process and will uphold the latest government recommendations for sugar and fibre.
