While registration with a general practitioner is not required to obtain the NHS COVID Pass letter or online via NHS.UK, a National Health Service number is required.

Where required temporary NHS numbers can be created, by the administering centre for those receiving COVID-19 vaccinations and the site can assist in identifying a temporary NHS number. Individuals can also find their NHS number through the online ‘Find Your NHS Number’ service.
