Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment his Department has made of the potential merits of vaccinating children in year 7 who are 11 years old against covid-19 in the context of their 12 year old peers in the same school year being eligible for that vaccination.

There has been no specific assessment as there is currently no COVID-19 vaccine authorised in the United Kingdom for use in those under 12 years old.
