Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to the Answer of 2 March 2017 to Question 65319, on HM Passport Office, what the scope is of the review referred to; and when she plans for that review to be completed.

The scope of the review will be to determine (a) what level of service provision is required, balancing the customer and value for money requirements, (b) what would represent an effective and efficient business process, and (c) what lessons can be learned from other initiatives.

It is not currently anticipated that we will complete such a review until the end of the year.
