Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to Oral Statement from the Minister for Veteran Affairs of 13 December 2023 on Afghan Resettlement Update, Official Report, whether he plans for Afghans under the Afghan Relocations and Assistance Policy to be housed in temporary hotel accommodation beyond 31 December 2023.

There are currently no Afghans in the UK eligible for the Afghan Resettlement and Assistance Policy scheme currently in hotel accommodation, and we have no plans to use hotels in the future.
