Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what estimate he has made of the total amount to be spent by his Department in 2016-17 which will count towards the target of 0.7 per cent of gross national income spent on official development assistance.
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office was allocated £466 million to spend on official development assistance (ODA) in 2016-17. ODA is formally measured on a calendar year basis. Provisional spending figures for 2016 will be published in April.
