Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, pursuant to the Answer of 9 March 2017 to Question 66551, for what reasons the Government has not yet ratified the Protocol V of the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons.

​The UK is currently assessing the implications for Government Departments which would result from ratification of Protocol V of the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons (CCW). The UK already abides by the spirit of the Protocol and is committed to its humanitarian aims.
