Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, if she will give the police powers to recover costs from landlords in cases where the police are repeatedly required to deal with drug-related issues at the same premises.

The Government has no plans to provide the police with special powers to levy charges in these circumstances.
