Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what assessment he has made of the adequacy of the regulation of HomeServe insurance services.
HomeServe is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) as an insurance intermediary.
The FCA is an independent non-governmental body responsible for regulating and supervising the financial services industry.
It is for the FCA to determine the regulatory framework for firms it supervises and to assess the adequacy of that framework.
