Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, pursuant to the Answer of 2 July 2015 to Question 5507, what recent representations he has received from local authorities on shortages in (a) social and (b) private housing.

My Department regularly engages with local authorities and representative bodies to discuss a wide range of issues, including housing provision.
